Carl Soldier of Clay Childs. Army veteran that graduated with two degrees in two years, unveiled his artwork to the world. Artist Carl Childs is an active Artist, Art Instructor & Community Builder. Childs has completed Art Internships at Schiele Museum of Natural History & Arts on Main. Childs uses proceeds from his sales to create workshops, feed children, support libraries, fight cancer, and bring hope to seniors and the disabled. "I want to spread my artistic message globally, bridge cultural barriers and promote healing" said Childs. Childs has appeared in several newspapers & magazines promoting the arts and conducting exhibits. Childs has written and created several workshops. Childs has created new Continuing Education Art classes at Gaston College, which includes Solo Exhibit I and the textbook by the same title. "I strive to work over 100 hours in my craft every week." said Childs "I'm also looking for exhibit opportunities and the next school to attend."
